Alanis Morissette is beaming about her bundle of joy.

The Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter –– known for belting out her brew of angst-ridden rock –– welcomed her newborn baby to the world last week and shared the news on social media.

It’s a boy named Winter Mercy, and the sleeping newborn made his official debut via a black-and-white photo on Instagram Monday.

“He’s here. ??????????? Winter Mercy Morissette-Treadway. #8/8/19,” the “You Oughta Know” singer captioned the image, followed by the hashtag and emojis “#mywholelifeidreamedoflovingyouthree #???“

The boy, who was born Aug. 8, is the third child of the 45-year-old Grammy Award winning powerhouse and her husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway, a 39-year-old rapper from Boston.

The proud papa shared the same photo, adding the caption: “@alanis You will forever be my heroine. thank you for your warrior strength and ability to so deeply love.”

Treadway also shared that Winter, like the couple’s older two children –– 3-year-old daughter Onyx Solace and 8-year old son Ever Imre –– was born at home.

Morissette, who’s reportedly working on new music, is preparing a different kind of birth later this year: Her 1995 breakthrough album “Jagged Little Pill” has been adapted into a Broadway musical and will begin performances at New York City’s Broadhurst Theatre on Nov. 3.
