Woman fights off would-be rapist in NYC subway station

A sicko tried to rape a woman inside an Upper West Side subway station early Sunday, cops said.

The 32-year-old victim was entering the No. 1 train station at W. 86th St. and Broadway when the creep grabbed her on the stairs around 12:30 a.m, police said.

He pinned her against a wall and groped her but she managed to fight back. The man ran off and has not been caught, according to cops.

No suspect description was immediately available.
