The voice of pure evil was heard in cell phone videos recorded before the massacre at Stoneman Douglas High School.
“Alright, here’s the plan. I’m gonna go take Uber, in the afternoon before 2:40. From there I’ll go into the school campus, walk up the stairs, unload my bags and get my AR and shoot people down,” gunman Nikolas Cruz says in one of the clips released by prosecutors Wednesday and obtained by the Daily News.
“My name is Nic, and I’m gonna be the next school shooter of 2018,” he says in another snippet.
“When you see me on the news, you’ll know who I am,” he adds with a sickening laugh.
“You’re all going to die. Pew, pew, pew, pew, pew. Ah yeah, can’t wait,” he says.
Cruz, 19, carried out his bloody rampage on Feb. 14, killing 14 students and three faculty members before he was taking into custody.
The father of one victim told The News he had no interest in seeing or hearing the recorded rants.
“I certainly don’t want to see them,” said Max Schachter, the father of 14-year-old victim Alex Schachter.
“I really don’t care to talk about that monster,” he said. “I’m busy dealing with making our school safe in Parkland.”
The lone wolf shooter’s comments dive into the exisential at one point.
“Today is the day, the day it all begins — the day of my massacre shall begin. All the kids in school will run in fear and hide. From the wrath of my power, they will know who I am. I am nothing, I am no one, my life is nothing and meaningless.
“I live a lone life, live in seclusion and solitude. I hate everyone and everything. With the power of my AR, you will all know who I am. I had enough of being told what to do and when to do,” he says.
Cruz also references being bullied at school before promising that his name will be remembered.
“I had enough of (people) tell me that I’m an idiot and a dumbass. When real life you’re all the dumbass. You’re all stupid and brainwashed by these fucking political government programs,” he says. “You will all see, you will all know who my name is.”
