The parents of a toddler who died of cancer that went untreated until her tumor had reached 17 pounds are charged with manslaughter for allegedly causing her death.

Henry Clarence Lilly III, 49, and Bonnie Beth Mills-Lilly, 42, both of Lawton, Okla., are charged with felony first-degree manslaughter and could spend a minimum of four years in prison in the Jan. 3 death, The Lawton Constitution reported.

The pair appeared in Comanche County District Court on Thursday.

The toddler first came to authorities’ attention when someone called 911 to say a girl was “unconscious but breathing,” The Lawton Constitution said. Police found her living in a camper with six other children and the parents, Sheriff Kenny Stradley told The Constitution. The fate of those six children was unclear on Sunday.
