She’s been stuffing her expensive purse with sympathetic drivers’ cash.

Police in New Jersey recently came across a panhandler they say is a scammer.

Cops said on Monday the woman walked in and out of traffic with a sign reading, “I have 1 baby. Please in the name of God help me to buy baby stuff and diapers.”

But her story didn’t check out.

Police said that while asking for cash, she had a “$500 purse, some jewelry and a new iPhone X” with her.

Police said the woman claimed to be from Romania and now living in Queens.

She admitted to cops that she and a few other women had been dropped off in the area to panhandle. She was issued a ticket for impeding traffic and received a summons for soliciting without a permit.

Union Police took to Facebook to expose the woman and warn residents about fake panhandlers.

“It is nice to be charitable, but it’s not a good idea to donate to someone on the side of the road with a sign,” police said.
