On Sept. 19 at about 4:30 p.m., a woman inside a Junior’s Cheesecake on Broadway at W. 45th St. snatched a backpack belonging to a 75-year-old man then fled on foot, cops said. The bag contained the victim’s ID and bank cards.

The woman struck again about a half-hour later, police said. The thief found her way to Carmine’s on W. 44th St., where she took a 47-year-old woman’s purse from the back of her chair, then ran off in an unknown direction.

The victim’s purse contained her bank cards along with cell phones worth around $1,500, the NYPD said.

Cops released a photo of the suspect on Monday. The woman is white, in her 20’s or 30’s with blonde hair, and wearing a black top and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
