A New Jersey teenager was busted for bringing a loaded gun to an elementary school on Wednesday, authorities said.
A resource officer reportedly found the gun in a 14-year-old’s bag at the James F. Murray elementary school in Jersey City.
The 855-student school serves pre-K through eighth-grade students.
The boy’s name has not been released, but he is facing weapons possession charges.
Police are trying to determine why the youth packed the gun.
