Suspect sought in killing of Bronx teen outside his apartment building

A man with a history of gun and drug arrests is wanted in the killing of a Bronx teenager in January.

Police on Monday released a photo of Carlos Melendez, 30, who’s wanted for the fatal shooting of Joseph Ozuna, 18, on Jan. 10 outside the Mitchel Houses in Mott Haven, where he lived.

Family members told the Daily News in January they didn’t know why anyone would target such a cheerful, friendly teen. Ozuna had a knack for making friends, they said, and a passion for dancing.
