Two Staten Island men almost got away with murdering their neighbor — until one of them spilled the beans to cops.

Troy Williams, 33, and Steven Mazzelli, 27, now face charges for killing a man in a drug related robbery, police said Thursday.

The pair is accused of beating 50-year-old Mandel Harvey to death with a baseball bat in his basement apartment on Emily Court in Tottenville last year, police sources said.

Williams and Mazelli allegedly stashed Harvey’s body in their apartment for months, until they ditched the corpse last month in Arden Heights Woods off Ilyssa Way and Arthur Kill Road.

The two suspects lived with Harvey, and kept his body in their Emily Court apartment in Tottenville for several months before ultimately deciding to bury his corpse in January.

Earlier this week, one of the men walked into the 123rd Precinct station house and told cops everything, a police source with knowledge of the case said.

An NYPD K-9 cadaver dog found Harvey on Wednesday, cops said.

An autopsy will determine his cause of death, an NYPD spokesman said.

Both Williams and Mazzelli have criminal records and have done stints in prison — Williams for attempted robbery, Mazzelli for burglary, according to court records.
