Paul John Vasquez, an actor who appeared in the popular FX series “Sons of Anarchy,” reportedly died Monday in California. He was 48.

Vasquez suffered an apparent heart attack while visiting his father in San Jose, according to TMZ.

His death Is reportedly under investigation.

“This news has come as a surprise to us. Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. He will be missed,” his rep said in a statement to People.

The San Jose native was born to a musician father and a chef mother, according to his iMDB page.

He moved to Hollywood in pursuit of an acting career in the late ‘80s and made his TV debut on an episode of “Private Eye.”

In addition to “Sons of Anarchy,” he also appeared on TV shows like “21 Jump Street,” “NYPD Blue,” “ER,” “How I Met Your Mother” and “CSI: NY.”

Vasquez’s death comes several months after the death of fellow “Sons” actor Alan O’Neill, who died in June at 47.
