Six crooks armed with gun, knife invade Bronx apartment, tie up occupants, steal over $20K in cash and $75K in jewelry

Six crooks armed with a gun and knife pushed their way into a Bronx apartment, tied up the occupants and stole over $20,000 in cash and $75,000 in jewelry, police said Tuesday.

The victims, a 45-year-old man and 34-year-old woman, answered a knock at their door in an apartment building near Bainbridge Ave. and E. 193rd St. in Fordham Manor about 1:30 a.m. Monday, cops said.

Surveillance video shows several suspects enter Bronx apartment where couple was tied up and robbed, police said.

Four men and two women pushed their way inside, with one suspect displaying a gun and another a knife.

The invaders bound the victims’ hands with electrical tape and slashed the male victim in the head and neck, officials said.

As the bound victims watched helplessly, the crooks ran off with cell phones, about $22,000 in cash and $75,000 worth of jewelry, authorities said.

The slashed victim refused medical attention and the female victim was not hurt.

Cops released surveillance images of the six suspects and are asking for the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.
