An Arizona woman was trying to find a seat at a Phoenix restaurant last week when she was berated and told her race would be “wiped out.”

“I hate to say the political climate is to blame for someone’s outrageous behavior, but I was visibly shaken today with this exchange. I simply asked the woman if I could sit down next to her while I waited for the car to charge,” Lennys Bermudez Molina, who is of Puerto Rican descent, wrote to Facebook along with the video of the upsetting encounter.

The now-viral cell phone footage — which has been viewed nearly 600,000 times — shows Molina confronting the woman she sat next to on Nov. 20 at Wildflower Bread Co.

“I would prefer the whole freaking nation to be white,” the unidentified woman can be heard saying to Molina.

The woman proceeded to say “You will be wiped out … trust me.”

The hate-filled women ended up leaving the restaurant. Soon after, Molina was escorted out by a manager to assure she got to her car safely.

"We were made aware that a guest made some inflammatory remarks to another guest on the basis of race in one of our restaurants," the restaurant company said in a statement. "Wildflower does not condone racism or discrimination of any kind."

Molina isn’t letting the encounter discourage her.

“I know that the scars of racism run deep in this great country I love. Being Puerto Rican, I am a proud American … and equally proud Puerto Rican. This lady was lucky my PR-ness didn’t come out!” Molina wrote.
