SEE IT: California woman assaults McDonald's employee after demanding ketchup, cops say

A woman in California went into a rage and attacked a worker at McDonald's, and police say it was all because she wanted some ketchup.

A 24-year-old California woman who was on a "mission" for ketchup attacked a McDonald's employee during a wild tantrum caught on video at the fast-food eatery, cops said.

Mayra Gallo was arrested on Tuesday, exactly one month following the ugly incident at the Santa Ana restaurant.

Gallo can be seen assaulting and trying to choke manager of the McDonald's in surveillance video released by police earlier this month.

“She didn’t get her ketchup, or enough,” Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department told the Mercury News. “An employee in the back (of the restaurant) had told her she couldn’t go inside, but she did. She was on a mission.”

Cops say Gallo "pushed, punched and choked" the manager before other employees came to help.

Gallo left the scene following the alleged attack after other employees came to the manager's aid. However, she was taken into custody and charged with assault after police identified her as the assailant in the video. The footage has been viewed more than 270,000 times on YouTube.

“We got numerous calls, and one TV-station viewer gave us the specific address where she resides,” Bertagna told the newspaper.
