The robbers strolled into the parking garage on W. 181st St. near Amsterdam Ave. in Washington Heights about 8 a.m. Sunday, authorities said Monday.
Surveillance video released by cops shows the pair approach the attendant’s office. One crook, seen in grey sweats and a black knit cap, drags a scooter behind him.
When an attendant comes to the door, that man tosses the scooter aside, pulls out a pistol and pushes his way into the room, the video shows. He’s followed by his accomplice, dressed in all black.
The gunman keeps his weapon pointed at the attendant, who has his hands up, the footage shows. Eyeing the security camera, he appears to realize his American flag mask is down, revealing his face, and pulls it back up over his nose and mouth.
The robbers snatched the victim’s wallet and cellphone before making off with two sets of car keys from the key box.
Surveillance video shows the thieves took two cars, a blue 2015 Mercedes Benz and a black 2014 BMW with Pennsylvania plates. The attendant was not hurt.
The suspects remain on the loose and the vehicles have not been recovered.
