Ground control to David Bowie fans: A first photo from an upcoming movie about the music icon has arrived.

A new picture showing actor-musician Johnny Flynn in his portrayal of Bowie in “Stardust” was published Tuesday by Deadline.

The dramatized film follows a 24-year-old Bowie in his first visit to America and also stars Marc Maron as the rocker’s publicist, Ron Oberman, according to the entertainment outlet.

The movie, from the United Kingdom studio Salon Pictures, does not have a release date.

Bowie died in January 2016 following a battle with liver cancer at age 69.

“Stardust” is the latest in a long line of recent movies based on famed rockers or their music. “Bohemian Rhapsody” about Freddie Mercury and Queen premiered last fall, while “Rocketman” about Elton John came out in May.

Then “Yesterday,” about a man who suddenly becomes the only person on earth who remembers the Beatles, premiered in June, and “Blinded by the Light,” about an English teenager of Pakistani descent who becomes inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s lyrics, opened this month.
