Two roommates were found dead in their Bronx home in what appears to be a double drug overdose, police said Wednesday.

Xanax, Endocet — a combination of the pain killers Oxycodone and acetaminophen — and a glassine envelope containing what appears to be heroin were inside the Throggs Neck apartment where Jerlanne Rojas, 34, and her roommate, Alex Cruz, 38, were found dead about 4 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Their landlord at the Revere Ave. home, near Sampson Ave. called police after she had not been able to reach her tenants, who lived below her, for more than a week.

The landlord claimed she hadn’t seen either Rojas or Cruz since Nov. 13. The last time anyone had been contact with the couple was on Nov. 25 when one of them sent the landlord’s son a text message, police sources said.

Police said the roommates had no visible signs of trauma on their bodies and believed they overdosed, although the city’s Medical Examiner will make a final determination following an autopsy.
