A 35-year-old man was fatally shot outside a Queens nightclub early Monday in a hail of bullets that also wounded two men, one critically, police said.
Shots rang outside the Mazi Nightclub near 130th St. and 92nd Ave. in Richmond Hill about 4:25 a.m.
EMTs rushed the mortally wounded victim, who was blasted in the chest, to Jamaica Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.
A 28-year-old man shot multiple times in the chest was rushed to the same hospital in critical condition, authorities said.
A 27-year-old man struck twice in the legs was taken to New York-Presbyterian Queens in stable condition.
There were no immediate arrests.
The club held three parties before the shooting, with one beginning at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, another at 10 p.m. and yet another kicking off at 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
“It started as a day party and went all night,” said neighbor Dominique Pesco, 26.
Pesco said she heard the gunfire. “It’s right outside our kitchen window,” she said.
“Every weekend we have incidents over here,” added Noel Maldonado, 28. “There’s always people getting stabbed, run over, fighting.”
