Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller’s wife Morgan Miller gave birth to a baby boy Friday, nearly four months after the couple’s 19-month-old daughter drowned in a swimming pool, according to People.

Their son — born at 1:34 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 — is the pair’s third child together. Bode, 40, and Morgan, 31, are also parents to 3-year-old boy Nash Skan. Bode has two children from previous relationships.

Morgan was five months into her pregnancy when their daughter, Emeline Grier, slipped through a back door and fell into a neighbor’s pool, dying the next day.

Paramedics performed CPR on Emeline before taking her to a nearby hospital, where she died on June 10.

“We are beyond devastated. Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this,” Bode said on Instagram at the time. “Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to its fullest every day.”

The Millers newborn boy’s name has not yet been shared publicly.

He was born at home in a birth pool one month before Emeline would have turned 2, midwife Lindsey Meehleis told Today.

The couple had announced the pregnancy on Instagram in April, months before the tragic accident.

Morgan expressed ambivalence about giving birth again.

“Besides the fact of never being able to see my daughter again, it was, every time, how am I supposed to bring a new baby into this world without — with just losing my baby?” she told Today.
