Girl group OH MY GIRL will be making a comeback soon with their 8th mini-album, Dear OH MY GIRL. Their title track, “DUN DUN DANCE” is slated to be a summer hit with an addictive hook in the Nu-Disco genre. However, with their comeback showcase airing soon, it was announced that member Mimi would be sitting out of the showcase.
In tandem with the launch of their mini-album at 6pm KST on May 10, 2021, the girls would host an online showcase at 4pm KST the same day. However, it was suddenly announced at the start of the showcase by MC Park So Hyun, that Mimi would not be able to participate in the showcase due to health reasons.
The last minute notification shocked many reporters and fans, who grew concerned for the rapper. WM Entertainment has yet to clarify or release an official statement on Mimi’s health.
