An off-duty NYPD detective was charged with drunken driving in the Bronx early Thursday after his car was found stalled in the middle of traffic and the cop asleep behind the wheel.

Police charged Queens Vice Detective John Glynn, 41, with drunken driving after his idling car was found blocking traffic at Westchester Ave. near Colonial Ave. at about 4 a.m.

When cops rolled up on his car, Glynn, who was near the entrance to the Bruckner Expressway, was asleep behind the wheel.

Officers roused him and charged him with drunk driving and refusing a breathalyzer test.

His arraignment was pending in Bronx Criminal Court on Thursday.
