Let’s go to the Knicks tape.
Video from inside Madison Square Garden appears to show James Dolan’s famous heckler making his way across multiple sections before mildly ordering the Knicks owner to sell the franchise following the team’s 53rd loss of the season on Saturday.
That brief interaction apparently gave Dolan all the ammo he needed to ban another fan of the woebegone franchise’s Mecca.
“The ban is only coming from the fact that he planned it,” Dolan said Tuesday on “The Michael Kay Show” on ESPN Radio. “They were stalking me.”
ESPN published short clip to Twitter during its exclusive interview.
“Sell the team,” an unidentified male fan told Dolan in a voice below a shout as he exited his courtside seats, as captured by TMZ over the weekend.
Dolan called the fan rude, before adding, “You want to not come to any more games?”
The self-described “street fighter” Dolan then called over security guards, who handled the rest as their boss hid under the depths of the Garden.
