NCT DREAM has made history today on May 16 as the first ever SM Entertainment artist to become “million sellers” in the first week of sales for their first full length album Hot Sauce.
This incredible feat makes them the first in SM Entertainment history to have the highest first week sales, and the youngest with eldest Mark at 21 years old and youngest Jisung at 19. They are now the third group to become million sellers in the first week in the K-Pop industry, joining BTS and SEVENTEEN.
Needless to say, the members were all overjoyed about the news, especially Jisung who posted a message on Lysn to thank fans and express his excitement. He even introduced himself as “SM’s first million seller group on the first week, NCT DREAM’s youngest, Jisung.”
It’s incredible that they reached this status without a repackage, and on their first official full length album. The boys deserve the recognition for all their hard work!
