Motorcyclist fatally slams into minivan on Queens street

A motorcyclist zipping down a residential Queens street died after he slammed into the side of a minivan late Saturday, police said.

The biker was speeding west on 113th Drive when his 2015 Honda motorcycle smashed into the passenger side of a Toyota Sienna entering the intersection at 221st St. in Cambria Heights around 10:15 p.m., according to authorities.




The man, who was not immediately identified, suffered severe body trauma as a result of the impact. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital but could not be saved.

The 55-year-old minivan driver and his passenger were treated for minor injuries at North Shore Medical Center.

The driver came to a complete stop at a stop sign before entering the intersection, cops said.

There were no signs of criminality.
