More than $350K in jewelry swiped from pair of posh pads inside Trump Tower, sources say

Cops are investigating the thefts of more than $350,000 worth of baubles from from inside Trump Tower, law-enforcement sources said Sunday.

In one case, a 67-year-old woman who lives on the 42nd floor of 721 Fifth Ave. in Midtown told investigators she was away on vacation from June until early September, sources said.

When she arrived back at her apartment, she found several jewelry items valued at about $240,000 had vanished from a closet drawer, police sources said.

A 33-year-old woman who lives on the building’s 59th floor also reported to cops in early September that she was missing a diamond bracelet valued at about $120,000 sources said.

She told investigators she had stored the item in a jewelry pouch.

She believes the items were swiped sometime between Sept. 4 and Sept. 10.

Investigators are trying to whether the same thief is responsible for both heists. No suspect description was available.

President Trump is expected to spend most of the week in New York as he participates in the annual United Nations General Assembly.
