Michael Jordan is still the greatest trash talker of all time.
He doesn’t make a lot of public speaking appearances these days, but Jordan took to the podium on Monday night at the Hornets facility and was asked about some of the historic performances occurring in the NBA right now.
So what impresses the GOAT more? James Harden’s consecutive 30-point games streak or Russell Westbrook’s NBA record triple-double streak?
“Which is harder from the player’s standpoint? Six championships by all means,” Jordan said with a wry smile.
This from the man who basically ruined Muggsy Bogues’ career by calling him a “midget,” told opposing players exactly what moves he was going to make on them, shot free throws with his eyes closed, and entered the locker room with a victory cigar…before the game.
Clearly MJ’s still got it.
He did, however, admit that what Harden and Westbrook are doing is impressive and a good thing for the league.
