This is sure to bring “Joy” to fans of Jennifer Lawrence — the actress is engaged to Cooke Maroney.
Lawrence and her new fiancé have been romantically linked for nearly a year, yet Maroney remains something of an unknown to the general public.
But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Maroney, 34, is a director at the Gladstone 64 art gallery on the Upper East Side.
His clientele is impressive, as he’s done business with Carroll Dunham — the dad of “Girls” creator Lena Dunham — as well as famed artists Richard Prince and Matthew Barney, the latter of whom dated Björk for over a decade, according to The Cut.
Dating rumors began to swirl around Lawrence, 28, and Maroney in June 2018, and they’ve been photographed together multiple times in the months since.
Their engagement was confirmed by Lawrence’s rep to multiple outlets, including E! News.
Lawrence has remained tight-lipped about the romance, but a source told People last August that the “Hunger Games” star had “great chemistry” with Maroney.
“She is smiling like I have never seen her do with any of her previous boyfriends,” the insider told the magazine.
Their trips together over the past year have included stops in Rome and Paris, and they also attended the premiere of the critically acclaimed film “The Favourite” last September.
They’ve also been photographed together in New York City. A source told Us Weekly in January that Lawrence and Maroney were living together.
