What a Marvel to behold!

Disney Parks confirmed Thursday that the Avengers Campus, a superhero-themed attraction, would be coming to Disneyland and Disneyland Paris as early as next year.

That means in 2020, kids — and adults alike — can hobnob with the likes of the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America.

“We’re building an immersive superhero-themed land at Disney California Adventure to enable our guests to join the Avengers to save the world,” said Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

The makeover is just the latest step in creating the Marvel comic book-based universe at Disney. The Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout!, which replaced the Tower of Terror, is already up and running. The Avengers Campus will have a Spider-Man themed ride, called Tony Stark’s Worldwide Engineering Brigade, reported Polygon.

The new park area will occupy the parcel that was once A Bug’s Land, which ceased operations in September and was based on the 1998 animated film “A Bug’s Life.”

“When guests visit Avengers Campus, they will become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them,” reads an official Disney Parks’ blog post.

Also, coming to Magic Kingdom Parks is The Tron Lightcycle Run, based on the 1982 sci-fi thriller “Tron” and its 2010 sequel “Tron: Legacy,” which starred Jeff Bridges as a creator of a popular arcade game who is laser-shrunk into the game’s matrix.
