A man linked to the shooting of Boston Red Sox star David “Big Papi” Ortiz is also a suspect in a Pennsylvania shooting, according to a report.

Luis Alfredo Rivas Clase, aka “the Surgeon,” was identified Wednesday as one of the seven people responsible for the bungled hit on the future hall of famer in the Dominican Republic Sunday.

Clase, 31, of Reading, Pa, is still being sought.

NBC 10 reported that Clase was charged with conspiracy to commit homicide for a shooting in Reading in April 2018. His victim was shot in the lower back but survived.

Clase allegedly threatened to kill the victim a few days prior to the incident, Reading authorities told NBC 10. He also conspired with another suspect to shoot the man.

The gunman arrested for shooting Ortiz, Rolfi Ferreira, is also wanted for a string of robberies in New Jersey.

Ortiz was shot from behind outside a bar in Santo Domingo on Sunday night. Witnesses said the shooting was carried out by two men on a motorcycle, assisted by two other groups of people in cars.

The Boston slugger survived the shooting and is now recovering at Massachusetts General Hospital.

As of Wednesday, Dominican Republic authorities have arrested six suspects for the shooting. Clase and three others are still being sought.
