Man slashed in the face with needle during fight near Port Authority Bus Terminal

A 22-year-old man was slashed in the face with a hypodermic needle during a fight near Port Authority Bus Terminal early Sunday, police said.

The victim, who is homeless, got into a fight in front of a pizza shop on W. 43rd St. near Eighth Ave. in Midtown around 3 a.m., cops said. During the fracas, his rival pulled out a needle and slashed him in the face.

The bleeding victim ran to the bus terminal for help as his attacker fled. Medics took the victim to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s in stable condition.

Police nabbed Lavon Davis, 19, a short while later after a brief pursuit. Charges against him were pending.
