Lindsay Lohan, who for a while was as well known for her mugshots as for “The Parent Trap,” is starting over again… again.

This time, the former child actress has planted her roots in Dubai and at a beach house in Mykonos, Greece, where her ex-fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, was once filmed assaulting her. She’s hocking for lawyers.com and planning her own version of “Vanderpump Rules.” And she’s tightly controlling her public appearances, too.

“She shoots for magazines like W and likes to do fashion,” her assistant told the New York Times, insisting that the 31-year-old actress doesn’t pose for photos without pay anymore. Her Instagram, active once again after she deleted her pictures in a “period of renewal” in January 2017 — then again in January 2018 — is a perfectly curated compilation of professional shots, selfies and throwbacks.

After her film and music career began fading, Lohan’s behind-the-scenes troubles took center stage, including a May 2007 DUI, an August 2007 misdemeanor cocaine guilty plea, a two-week jail stint in 2010 after a skipped mandatory hearing. The actress’s troubles also include misdemeanor charges, probation and 240 hours of community service stemming from a June 2012 car accident.

Today, with her bizarre accent long gone, she doesn’t seem interested in returning to the United States.

“I’m a normal, nice person. A good person. I don’t have any bad intentions. And my past has to stay in the past,” Lohan told the Times.

“Like, people have to just let go of it and stop bringing it up because it’s not — it’s gone. It’s dead. And that’s the most important thing to me.”
