The Jets are iffy on Le’Veon Bell, and it seems the feeling for now is mutual.
“I’m sooooo torn right now ?????? …decisions,” Bell tweeted Monday evening, taking back the free agency spotlight from his peers who already exploited the legalized tampering session.
Former NFL cornerback Charles James facetiously suggested Bell flip a coin, but the contentious star said even that wasn’t an option.
“lol that would be easy if it was just between 2,” Bell replied.
The market for Bell, who sat out all of last season after refusing a franchise tag, seems murky at this point.
Gang Green has long-been posited as a destination for the former Steeler, though the Daily News’ Manish Mehta reported early Monday that the front office is divided on the matter. Jets star and GM-wannabe Jamal Adams has tweeted Bell ad nauseam this offseason to get him on One Jets Drive.
“Chill out bro,” Adams tweeted Monday in response to ESPN analyst and former NFLer Louis Riddick suggesting Bell take his talents to Chicago.
The Raiders, who landed the three-time Pro Bowler’s former comrade Antonio Brown, are also believed to be in play, along with the Colts and 49ers, among other suitors.
Bell can officially sign with the team of his choosing once the new league year opens this Wednesday.
The end of his year-long saga is nearly complete.
