Kooky new Heinz condiments mix mayo with barbecue sauce and mustard

Two kooky new Heinz condiments look a lot like what elementary school kids mix up in lunchrooms when they’re bored.

The food brand famous for its ketchup is launching Mayocue, a blend of barbecue sauce and mayonnaise, and Mayomust, a mustard and mayo mashup.

The vomit-colored concoctions will be sold in 16.5-ounce bottles for a suggested retail price of about $3.49 per bottle. They’re already rolling out at major retailers and are expected to be widely available across the county by next month.

“Sauce lovers nationwide have been mixing different condiments to create flavor combinations that will take their favorite foods to the next level for years,” Nicole Kulwicki, a Heinz director of marketing, said in a statement.

Heinz made waves last year when it debuted Mayochup, a premixed mayonnaise and ketchup fusion.

“First with Mayochup sauce and now with Mayocue and Mayomust sauces, we’re taking out the guesswork to give our fans the perfect condiment blends from the start,” Kulwicki said.
