Joakim Noah’s voluntary exile from the NBA seems to be nearing its end.
The former Knicks center is in talks with the Grizzlies, The New York Times reported Monday.
The Knicks rid themselves of Noah last month, waiving the former all-star after a disappointing two-season stint culminated by a heated altercation over playing time with ex-coach Jeff Hornacek last January.
Noah, 33, never suited up again and his whereabouts thereafter were only hinted out through Instagram posts.
James Dolan still owes Noah $38 million from the flopped transaction.
The Grizzlies are off to a solid 10-5 star as Memphis offers Noah the opportunity to back up Marc Gasol.
Perhaps a reunion could be in play when the Knicks battle the Grizzlies in Memphis on Sunday.
