Kansas City wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation for alleged battery. First reported by the Kansas City Star, the news came only hours after the NFL suspended his former teammate, Kareem Hunt after video was released by TMZ of Hunt shoving and kicking a woman.
Hill’s investigation for alleged battery against a juvenile also listed his fiance as being one of the “others involved.” The report also detailed the incident occurred on Thursday, though no actual date was listed, according to the Star.
The Chiefs released a statement after news of the investigation broke.
“The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill,” the team said in a statement. “We are in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities. We will have no further comment at this time.”
Hill had pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges back in August 2015 while still playing for Oklahoma State University. The incident involved his, now fiance, Crystal Espinal, whom he assaulted while she was eight months pregnant.
