Ivanka Trump says she’s not worried about investigation that’s circling around herself, her husband, brothers and dad

The Russia probe is of no concern to Ivanka Trump.

“There’s nothing there, yet it’s created weeks and weeks and months of headlines,” the First Daughter said.

“So no, I have zero concern.”

Trump made the remarks in an interview with ABC News during which she also claimed she “knew literally almost nothing” about a Moscow real estate project pursued by the Trump Organization during her father’s 2016 bid for the White House — now a central focus in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s collusion investigation.

“There was never a binding contract. I never talked to the — with a third party outside of the organization about it. It was one of — I mean we could have had 40 or 50 deals like that, that were floating around, that somebody was looking at,” she said.

“Nobody visited it to see if it was worth our time. So this was not exactly like an advanced project.”

She also brushed off those attributing any significance to the dealings, saying there is nothing “strange” about a business angling to establish properties in Russia.

“We’re not talking about Iran. It was Russia,” she said. “And we weren’t even advanced enough that anyone had even visited the prospective project site. So it was just really an non-factor in our minds. I’m not sure that anyone would have thought about it.”

During his campaign, President Trump repeatedly denied having any dealings with Russia. His former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, since being indicted in Mueller’s probe, has admitted that the Trump Organization was working on a deal to build a Trump Tower in Moscow while he sought the presidency.

During a guilty plea in federal court, the long-time Trump ally said he worked on the deal at the President’s behest and often briefed him and his family on its progress.

When asked whether she was worried about any of her loved ones getting ensnared in Mueller’s collusion investigation she responded: “No, I’m not. I’m really not.”
