Indian patients needing surgeries for a better quality of life, from removing cataracts to taming epilepsy, get a chance to do so at no cost aboard the country's Lifeline Express. Started back in 1991 as a way to provide health and dental care to disabled patients, the Lifeline Express continues to travel throughout India years later, caring for impoverished and rural patients whose local hospitals can't meet their needs.
