Get ready for a bacon bonanza.

McDonald’s is offering free slices of the salt-cured pork during its upcoming Bacon Hour, a nationwide event happening Jan. 29 from 4 to 5 p.m.

During the sizzling 60-minute affair, customers who make any purchase will be given two half pieces of bacon on the side.

The freebie is timed to the fast food chain’s coming limited time-availability of three classic menu items that will be blessed with bacon. Starting Jan. 30, McDonald’s will sell a Big Mac Bacon, Quarter Pounder Bacon, and Cheesy Bacon Fries for a short time.

Or, just add bacon to anything you want — whether it be an ice cream sundae, McFlurry or hashbrowns — when you score a side on Tuesday.

“I love bacon,” Michael Haracz, McDonald’s manager of culinary innovation, said in a statement. “America loves bacon. I really can’t wait to see the crazy and daring combinations our customers put together.”

Just don’t expect to gorge on the greasy goodness. Patrons will be limited to one free side of bacon per person.
