A 21-year-old man was shot to death in Queens, cops said Sunday.
The victim was blasted multiple times outside a church hall on 120th Ave. and 195th St. in St. Albans about 10:50 p.m. Saturday, police said.
“I just heard the shots,” said one neighborhood resident, who declined to give his name. “Then I heard a scream. That’s when I got outside and saw the two family members over him.”
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital but couldn’t be saved. His name was not immediately released.
The gunman fled in a dark sedan and has not been caught, cops said.
Devastated relatives showed up at the scene Sunday morning.
“We don’t know what happened, but they shot him," a relative who identified herself as the victim’s cousin told the Daily News. “We lost family here.”
“He’s not in gangs. He’s not into the fights. He’s not like that,” added another cousin.
“He was a loving person. He loved family. He liked to have fun. He was really outgoing, loved music, loved Nicki Minaj. That was his most favorite famous person in the world."
Relatives said they believe the victim was walking between his home and his grandmother’s nearby home when he was killed. His grandmother’s birthday is this week.
“He was just really family oriented so it’s just not making sense,” one cousin said.
“Nephew, grandson, he was a whole lot . . . He was working two jobs. Worked his ass off.”
