Drinks and dessert are best served together — at least when they’re both packed in the same tasty ice cream carton.
Häagen-Dazs is rolling out several new booze-soaked treats in time for spring. Indulgent flavors in the ice cream line’s Spirits Collection range from Irish Cream Brownie to Rum Tres Leches.
The former folds Irish Cream-infused ice cream with chocolate brownie pieces and a fudge swirl. And the latter pairs white rum-infused ice cream with ribbons of dulce de leche and chunks of Tres Leches cake.
Other flavors in the lineup including Bourbon Vanilla Bean Truffle, Stout Chocolate Pretzel Crunch, a Non-Dairy Amaretto Black Cherry Almond Toffee, and Bourbon Praline Pecan, a popular flavor that was previously available and is now party of the Spirits Collection.
The most exciting new alcohol-infused sweets are Irish Cream Cookie Squares, a chocolate cookie topped with Irish Cream flavored ice cream and dipped in dark chocolate.
“The Häagen-Dazs brand is built on a passion for transforming the finest ingredients into extraordinary ice cream experiences,” Rachel Jaiven, a Häagen-Dazs brand manager, said. “The Spirits Collection was expertly crafted to offer new, extraordinary ways to indulge. Each flavor is perfect to pair with your favorite cocktail, elevate a boozy float or simply enjoy on its own.”
Some stores already have the collection in, which is expected to be widely available nationwide by April.
The flavors, available in 14-ounce cartons, and the Cookie Squares, sold in a box holding three, retail at $5.29.
Just don’t expect to get tipsy from the treats since they have less than .5% alcohol.
