A brutish robber pulled a gun on two Bronx women and pushed one to the ground as the other fought back with her umbrella, police said.
The mugger screeched up to the women in a blue Toyota Rav 4 on Martha Ave. near E. 240th St. in Woodlawn Heights and jumped out Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.
He waved the gun with one hand, grabbed the purse of a 76-year-old woman and then shoved her to the ground, causing her to hit her head.
Her companion, 75, then leaped to her aid and started hitting the robber with an umbrella before he threw her to the ground as well.
The brute jumped back into his car and took off south on Martha Ave.
Cops released video of the hooded suspect leaving his car and attacking the women and asked for the public’s help in tracking him down.
He was described as an 18- to 20-year-old black male, 140 pounds and 5-foot-6. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on his chest, tan pants and brown boots.
