After officially signing with H1GHR MUSIC earlier in the month, GOT7‘s Jay B officially released his first solo single, “Switch It Up,” which has gained success globally.
According to H1GHR MUSIC’s Instagram, the song debuted at number one on the iTunes European and Worldwide song chart on the day of the track’s release. It also reached number six on the US iTunes chart, which is a difficult task!
If that wasn’t enough, Jay B also peaked at number one in 44 countries, including India, Portugal, France, Brazil, and many more. He also achieved huge success on the Genie Chart by entering the top 100 at number one and debuting on the real-time chart at number three.
The song featured artist sokodomo and was produced by Cha Cha Malone. With its mysterious and aesthetically pleasing music video, the song hit one million views on YouTube in 14 hours.
Despite KBS deeming the “Switch It Up” ineligible for broadcasting, fans continuing to find ways to support Jay B and spread the song. From listening to the track on streaming sites, watching the video on YouTube, and sharing the links across social media, they are sharing the track on a global scale.
It is only the start of a new chapter in Jay B’s career. Fans are excited to see where he goes from here both as a soloist and member of GOT7.
