Geraldo Rivera’s son has completed half of the court-assigned program that will see his domestic abuse conviction erased.
Cruz Rivera pleaded guilty to attempted assault and disorderly conduct in July for biting and pushing girlfriend Meghan Burke inside his W. 175 St. home on May 1.
As part of his deal, Rivera, 30, has to finish a program for domestic abusers, stay away from Burke, 26, and keep out of trouble for a year. If he does all that, his conviction will be wiped.
During an appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court Friday, Rivera’s lawyer, Arthur Aidala said his client has done 10 of 20 required sessions. A representative from the program backed up that up.
