It’s a long way from the Wall to the Marvel Comics Universe.

Kit Harington, best known for playing Jon Snow on the long-running HBO series “Game of Thrones,” has been cast in the upcoming film adaptation of “The Eternals.”

Harington, 32, will play Dane Whitman, one of the heroes to assume the role of the Black Knight.

The star-studded cast includes Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie as warrior goddess and defender of humanity Thena, and Oscar nominee Salma Hayek as Ajak, the leader of the Eternals.

At the D23 Expo in Anaheim on Saturday, Jolie received a standing ovation during the official “Eternals” cast announcement.

Brian Tyree Henry, Richard Madden and Kumail Nanjiani will also appear in the film.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced that “Crazy Rich Asians” co-star Gemma Chan would play Sersi in the movie.

Feige also unveiled the main characters’ costume designs — skin-tight, shiny outfits of muted colors.

“The Eternals,” which is slated to hit cineplexes Nov. 6, 2020, will be directed by Chloe Zhao, the writer-director of the 2017 drama “The Rider.”

The comic book for which the film derives from debuted in 1976 and was created by Jack Kirby. It chronicles the battle between the super race The Celestials and their adversaries The Deviants.
