Frontier Airlines offers $15 flights out of Newark to celebrate new nonstop routes
Travelers will be flying high if they score these intro plane fares.
To celebrate 15 new nonstop routes out of Newark Airport, low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines will be offering one-way flights as low as $15 on some of them for a limited time, the airline announced Tuesday.
Frontier says the new flights will be the “only low-cost, nonstop options” from the New Jersey airport to Cancun, Mexico; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Miami; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; Phoenix; Raleigh, N.C., and San Juan. The airline adds that its new Newark to Ontario, Calif. nonstop flight opens “an affordable, convenient option for travel to the Los Angeles area.”
“We’re excited to make flying more affordable for the Garden State with 15 new routes from Newark,” Frontier president Barry Biffle said in a statement. “With fares as low as $15, we hope we inspire more people to fly.”
To take advantage of the cheap intro fares, tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday. The deeply discounted fares are valid Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 19 through Feb. 12, 2020. There are blackout dates, when the discounts don’t apply, from Nov. 22 through Dec. 2, and Dec. 20 through Jan. 6, 2020. Fares are one-way and do not require round-trip purchase.
Starting Nov. 14, Newark flights to and from these locations will launch with the following intro rate prices: McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas ($15), Orlando International Airport ($15), Miami International Airport ($15) and San Juan Airport ($29).
Then on Dec. 10, more new routes launch out of Newark including to and from Palm Beach International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, all for a $15 intro fee through Wednesday on select flights.
Beginning in March and April, with tickets going on sale at a later date, there will be flights from Newark to and from Tampa International Airport, Punta Cana International Airport, Cancun International Airport, Denver International Airport, Ontario International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
