When Enes Kanter was a member of the Knicks he talked plenty, played little and lost a lot of games.
Now that the chatty center is a member of the Trail Blazers he can expect to play more and start winning.
Just don’t expect him to stop talking … or poking his former team on social media.
Kanter, who scored 18 points and grabbed nine boards in his Portland debut, took to Twitter after Portland’s 113-99 win over the Nets at the Barclays Center Thursday night.
“Wow! That’s how winning feels,” Kanter wrote.
He then added: “I can get use to that.”
Kanter jumped from a tanking team – and a spot deep on David Fizdale’s bench – to a Blazers club currently holding down the fourth seed in the competitive Western Conference.
The Knicks – winners of just two games in 2019 (2-19) – tried unsuccessfully to deal Kanter when they opted to play the young kids while tanking for the future. He was waived by the Knicks on Feb. 7 and then signed on with the Blazers on Feb. 13.
