Enes Kanter is turning over a new leaf — a green one.
A few days after posting a “cheat day” photo of his hamburger-heavy meal topped off with a mound of french fries, the Knicks center suggested he’s going back to eating his veggies.
Kanter posted a photo to Twitter of his meal Sunday night, which consisted of a piece of salmon and a healthy portion of vegetables. He missed the Knicks’ 108-105 loss to the Sixers earlier in the day, a second straight DNP due to illness. Some speculated that his sickness was related to that greasy meal from Friday, although David Fizdale dispelled those rumors.
“The eating thing is, I think that’s him just messing with y’all,” Fizdale said. “He really has some flu-like symptoms. It’s been kicking his butt.”
The big man won’t be playing Thursday, either, since he isn’t traveling with the team to London due to safety concerns stemming from his public comments about Turkey’s dictator.
