An 80-year-old woman died after a car plowed into her and her 84-year-old husband in Queens, officials said Wednesday.

Xui Pu Xi and her husband were crossing near the corner of 251st St. and 63rd Ave. near the Challenge Playground in Little Neck about 6 p.m. Tuesday when a Honda driven by a 42-year-old woman slammed into them.

They were less than two blocks from their home when they were hit.

Medics rushed Xi and her husband to North Shore University Hospital, but the elderly woman couldn’t be saved, officials said. Her husband suffered a leg injury and was treated and released, cops said. His name was not immediately disclosed.

Police said that the Honda was making a turn onto 251st St. when it struck the couple. The driver was taken to an area hospital for observation, officials said.

An investigation into the fatal crash was continuing Wednesday, police said. No charges have been filed.
