Dunkin’ announces fall menu will hit stores Aug. 21

Dunkin’s pumpkin-heavy fall menu arrives Aug. 21.

Before summer’s even over, the fall menu is hitting stores.

Dunkin’s fall menu, filled with pumpkin and apple cider-flavored items, will hit stores Aug. 21, the food joint announced Monday.

Ahead of the official start of fall, Dunkin’s fall-flavored items will roll out nationwide — nearly a week earlier than last year, when the menu rolled out on Aug. 27.

Alongside familiar items including pumpkin-flavored coffees, the pumpkin doughut and muffin and pumpkin K-cup Pods, new items including a cinnamon sugar pumpkin signature latte and apple cider donuts will appear on the menus.

The hot or iced cinnamon sugar pumpkin signature latte has pumpkin and cinnamon flavors, with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar on top. Apple cider donuts and Munchkins feature an apple cider cake tossed in cinnamon sugar.

Eight select stores around the nation — located in seven cities that each begin with the letters that spell out “P-U-M-P-K-I-N-',” — will be rebranded a week ahead of the nationwide roll out, bringing the fall items even earlier.

The select stores, rebranded as “Pumpkin’” instead of “Dunkin’," will feature free pumpkin flavored coffees and have pumpkin-scented Munchkins lip balm, Dunkin’ said.

Pumpkin-hunting customers can visit Dunkin’s Instagram for clues on the seven cities where the pumpkin-flavored items will be featured early.
