Actress Cynthia Nixon is worth more than Gov. Cuomo – at least as far as their financial assets are concerned.

Nixon, who is challenging Cuomo for the Democratic nomination for governor, and her wife Christine Marinoni held financial assets worth at least $5.2 million in 2017, according to a financial disclosure statement the actress filed with the Joint Commission on Public Ethics.

Cuomo, on his disclosure form, reported holding about $2 million in assets. News of Nixon’s financial disclosure was first reported by Politico.

Among Nixon’s biggest holdings were defined benefit plan, which she listed at a value between $1.75 million and $2 million; and property she owns with Marinoni in the East Village valued between $1.5 million and $1.75 million.

The couple also held investments in nearly 30 equity and fixed income securities.

Nixon also reported between $450,000 and $550,000 in acting income that was funneled through The Fickle Mermaid, a pass-through corporation she created to handle her acting career. She also reported earning as much as $25,000 in residuals from earlier performances and up to $250,000 from the sale of property in Montauk.
