They wanted their burger well-done.
Customers at the A&W Restaurant drive-thru in Winnipeg, Canada, continued to line up for their fast-food fix, despite the chain going up in flames as they waited Sunday, according to a report.
The fire left the restaurant completely destroyed, the Global News said. It began just after 5 p.m. and officials were still working to contain it until 2:30 a.m. Monday.
Firefighters were unable to enter the restaurant because it was considered too dangerous due to high heat and heavy smoke.
No civilians were injured, but a firefighter suffered minor injuries, according to Global News. He was not taken to the hospital.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
